TEMPEST ANNOUNCES THE BEST VACUUM PUMP WARRANTY IN GENERAL AVIATION

GIBSONVILLE, NC - Aero Accessories, the manufacturer of the Tempest brand of vacuum pumps and pneumatic components, today announced major improvements to its warranty on its Tempest Tornado 3000 series engine driven vacuum pumps for general aviation aircraft. Calendar time increased from 2 to 3 years, and service hours increased to 1300. The new warranty reflects Aero Accessories' strong confidence in the new design based on performance of Tempest Tornado pumps already in service.

According to Aero Accessories president Tim Henderson, the Tempest Tornado 3000 has been flying on active aircraft since their introduction early in 2003 without experiencing any premature failures. "This is a tremendous gain in reliability and performance." Henderson went on to say. "Innovation such as the closed front end prevents foreign fluids from entering the mechanism. Monolithic construction improves component alignment and stability. Our patented wear indicator port, "WIP" inspection system, provides an easy way to visually observe vane wear. Combined, these features help make the Tempest Tornado the most reliable dry air pump in the industry. "We used the results of years of intensive study of the deficiencies in competitive designs to develop the improvements incorporated into the Tempest Tornado 3000," Henderson stated.

John Herman, Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Tempest Plus Marketing Group, announced that the design improvements and extended warranty were implemented without increasing the price of the Tempest Tornado, resulting in significant added value for customers.
